Dragonfly Design and Build has completely reimagined our home—inside and out. What used to be a backyard we barely stepped into is now an absolute oasis: a covered bar area, Soake pool, beautiful hardscapes, and thoughtful lighting that brings the whole space to life. Their craftsmanship, professionalism, and daily cleanup were exceptional from start to finish. Tim, the owner, was great to work with, and we had complete trust in Gabe, the job foreman. Gabe not only managed the project flawlessly but offered minor design suggestions along the way that genuinely elevated our original vision. The entire crew brought the same level of talent and consistency every day. The transformation speaks for itself. We hosted a large 4th of July party this year—with a tent and a professional caterer who’s been in business for 25+ years. He told us our backyard was the best party setup he’s ever worked at. That says everything about the space Dragonfly created. We were so impressed that we brought them inside next—finishing our basement with a full bathroom and kitchenette, which came out beautifully. They’re now remodeling our two upstairs bathrooms. One is complete and looks incredible, and the second is nearly done and already shaping up just as well. They also transformed our front farmers porch and walkway—another area we never used. Now my wife and I start our mornings out there with coffee whenever the weather allows. It’s become one of our favorite spots. From the very beginning, the process was just as impressive as the results. After the first site visit, they delivered a full 3D rendering and fly-through of the backyard in under eight days, and that same clarity carried through every phase of each project. I almost hesitate to recommend them so highly only because we want them available for future work—but they’ve earned every bit of praise. Dragonfly did an outstanding job designing and building our patio and the surrounding plantings and landscaping. We initially weren’t sure how best to use the space, and Dragonfly was incredibly helpful in creating multiple design options and guiding us through each one. Compared to other companies we considered, their vision and thoughtful approach stood out immediately. Tim and his team are extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of outdoor projects—from landscape design and plant selection to stonework. They also delivered excellent carpentry work, including building an outdoor closet and adding privacy features to enhance our seating area. In addition, the landscape lighting they installed looks fantastic and really elevates the space at night. Throughout the project, the crew was always kind, professional, and reliable. Dragonfly was great about communicating; they consistently shared schedules and progress updates and gave us plenty of advance notice when decisions on design or materials were needed. That level of transparency and organization is rare and very appreciated. I highly recommend using Dragonfly.
