Fischbach & Moore is a heavy-construction electrical contractor working out of Braintree, tracing its roots back to 1918 and operating under new ownership since 2005, by its own account. The name shows up less on residential contractor lists and more in utility, substation, and public-works circles — clean energy, transportation, and water treatment are among the sectors it lists for itself. The two write-ups that exist online back that up: one client praised the on-time execution of extensive 15kV cable testing and distribution-equipment installation, calling the office and field staff easy to work with; another described consistent delivery across its testing, utility, and solar project groups. Google shows 4 stars from four ratings, and that's the extent of what's written about them online — a century-old history hasn't produced much of a paper trail. A handful of industry profile sites (LeadIQ, Datanyze, HigherGov) echo the same framing — a company built on complex public electrical projects — though those read like company-supplied descriptions rather than independent write-ups. It's also listed among IBEW Local 223's affiliated contractors. Worth knowing before calling: this isn't a residential electrician in the usual sense. Everything in its own materials and the reviews points to industrial and utility-scale work — substations, distribution equipment, large commercial and public projects — not a same-day call for a tripped breaker or a new outlet. If the job is that kind of heavy electrical work, the accounts on record are positive and specific; for anything smaller-scale, it's worth confirming they take on residential jobs at all before reaching out.

Fischbach & Moore is as top tier company. They have performed and executed every project I have worked with them on efficiently and on time. They have done extensive testing on 15KV cables and distribution equipment + installing 15KV feeders. Their office & field staff are very easy to work with and very knowledgeable!
