Five Star Builders is a general contractor whose jobs run from decks and basements to bathrooms and siding. The company says it has been in business 15 years, and on Google it holds 5 stars from 23 ratings. A recent customer who hired the company to completely rebuild a deck said there was very limited space where the stairs needed to go. Josh and Ryan re-engineered the steps, walked that customer through the adjustment options and made sure the code requirements were met, and at the end they hauled away every last bit of construction debris. A 2024 customer said Joshua and his team remade a plain, unsafe deck into an outdoor living area and delivered the project on time. A 2025 customer said Five Star demo'ed an old half-finished basement and built out a new one. A 2024 customer said Josh took a last-minute request to refinish a basement room less than two weeks before Christmas and had it done before the holiday. A 2024 customer said Josh's crew, Bobby and Gilbert, worked diligently to complete a bathroom remodel. A 2024 reviewer said the company replaced wood siding and some of the plywood underneath, though a couple of spots had accessibility issues. A 2024 customer who had a window well egress added said the job site was left clean and that unwanted trees, not part of the job, were uprooted and neatly stacked out of the way. A 2025 customer said Josh gave a professional written estimate for a small project, did the work within a few weeks and charged what he said he would.
