Flowerbed Landscaping

Flowerbed Landscaping is a Harwich outfit homeowners call for seasonal yard work, and the reviews written between 2022 and 2024 keep coming back to timing. A customer in 2023 wrote that someone showed up ten minutes after the estimate was requested, worked until it got too dark, then came back the next day as promised to finish. In December 2022, one homeowner said the crew arrived on time and charged the agreed price; another that month described leaves raked and hauled off two lawns, at a price they called realistic. A November 2024 customer called it a smooth transaction and said they would hire again. The April 2025 Google review tells the opposite story. That homeowner signed an estimate on March 25, 2025 for mowing and fall cleanup, including two mowings in April, and wrote at the end of that month that the grass was a foot tall and no one had come. They had emailed two days earlier and got no response, then sent a message through the company's website. It is a single account, and it lands squarely on the thing the earlier customers praised. HomeAdvisor's listing cites five years of experience and puts the work as landscaping and power washing, with gutter and downspout cleaning and sandblasting also offered; Angi lists the same mix. The star ratings don't agree either: 4.7 from seven reviews on Angi and HomeAdvisor, against 2.5 from two ratings on Google. For a leaf cleanup, a mowing round or a wash-down, the 2022 and 2023 accounts describe the kind of crew that turns up and bills what it quoted. Before you sign anything, get the visit dates written into the estimate and ask how they handle a week they can't make it — that is exactly where the 2025 customer got stuck.
