If they pick up and are taking work, this is a stone-and-concrete crew rather than a general remodeler — the call for a patio, a walkway, a set of front steps or a stamped-concrete driveway. Get the scope, materials and timeline in writing, and ask for a certificate of insurance and current home improvement contractor registration.
