Fred L Deschenes Construction

Fred L Deschenes Construction — doing business as F.L. Deschenes Construction — is a design-build general contractor based in Essex, on Massachusetts' North Shore. Its Houzz profile frames the company around owner Fred Deschenes' claimed 25 years in the trade, building custom homes, additions and full remodels (kitchen, bath, basement, whole-home) alongside architects and designers, plus decks, porches and custom millwork. The documented project work spans BuildZoom's 7 permitted projects and Houzz's own portfolio of 3 custom-home builds — all in Marblehead — shown across 10 photos. The company also lists a roughly 14-town North Shore service area on Houzz, running along Essex County and the surrounding coast. BuildZoom lists a Construction Supervisor license (#CS-066176) as active for the company — that's the directory's own listing, not an independently verified state check. Worth confirming directly before hiring: current licensing status, and which of the two phone numbers on file — Houzz's (781) 631-7188 or BuildZoom's (508) 470-0507 — reaches the business.
