Friece Electrical Services Inc

Friece Electrical has been wiring homes and facilities out of Norwood for decades — the company says it's been family-run since 1983, with some customers on the books for more than 40 years. Its core is standard electrical service and maintenance, but the site also lists generator installs, EV charging station setups, energy conservation upgrades, and bucket-truck aerial work — services that go beyond a typical residential electrician's usual list. Its Massachusetts electrician license, #16200, is active, verified with the state under master electrician William D. Friece. The public review record is thin, though: just two Google ratings, and they cut in opposite directions. A 2022 review credits an electrician named Kevin with consistently good work, while a 2021 review is far sharper, accusing the company of being "scammers and liars" over outlets that didn't work properly. BuildZoom's permit data shows 21 logged electrical projects and lists several older, inactive license numbers alongside the current active one — the kind of trail a business accumulates over four decades, not a red flag on its own. With only two reviews online, there isn't much of a public track record to lean on either way, so it's worth asking directly about recent jobs and getting the context on that outlet complaint before signing on for similar work. For straightforward wiring, generator installs, or an EV charger in the Norwood area, the license is in order — confirm current availability and get specifics on scope before booking.
