Twenty-two permitted projects, and the sample runs entirely to Marblehead residential work: also a $256,000 remodel-plus-addition, decks, and bathroom remodels. The company incorporated in Massachusetts in 1991 — thirty-five years — and runs with three employees under president Sheldon Frisch, with Impact Construction Inc. recorded as an alternate name. Its BBB page lists it for general contracting, custom homes, rehabs, real estate development, and remodeling for banks on foreclosures. Both Massachusetts numbers line up across sources, which counts for something. A permit directory shows construction supervisor licence CS-051135 active as of June 2026 and home improvement contractor registration 104546 active as of July 2026 — the same two numbers the business itself reports through the BBB. Neither was checked against the state registry here, so treat them as the directory's word, not a confirmation. What there is none of is customer voice. The BBB says outright that it lacks sufficient information to issue a rating, and the business is not accredited there. The permit directory carries no reviews and no star rating either; its score of 99 comes from permits and licences, not from anything a homeowner wrote. So: an established Marblehead builder with a long, high-value, strictly local permit history, and no public account of what working with them is actually like. For a large addition or a new build in town that is a reasonable place to start — but ask for three homeowner references from recent jobs, call them, and confirm both registration numbers with the state before signing.
