Wolf Carpenters is Julio's Peabody-based, family-owned construction and renovation company, and if there's a defining trait across 59 reviews it's range — this is a crew customers call for a kitchen or bathroom remodel, a two-story addition, a new deck, a fence, replacement windows, or a staircase rebuild, and gets consistent five-star results across almost all of it.
The full-scope projects are the most striking. One family hired Wolf for a two-story addition — a new kitchen, half bath, full bath, and bedroom — on a 100-plus-year-old home, and says the new construction blended seamlessly with the original house. Bathroom work comes up repeatedly too: a total gut renovation with window replacement and closet demo, a master bath the homeowner says looks like it's out of a magazine, and an added bathroom from a 2023 review that called the team's follow-through as strong as the original work. Beyond remodeling, the record covers custom decks and built-ins, indoor staircases, exposed structural beams, siding repair after a car hit a house, window and exterior door replacement, and a full backyard makeover with a new patio, walkways, walls, and an outdoor kitchen.
A few accounts point to real integrity behind the craftsmanship. One customer says Wolf reframed a sliding door and saved them thousands of dollars by being honest about what was actually needed rather than upselling a bigger fix. Another describes hiring Wolf specifically to fix problems a different roofing company had caused, with Julio's team working directly with the local building department to remediate the issue. A project manager who now signs Wolf as a company vendor says they executed to scope, on time, without the usual contractor friction.
The 59 reviews on file run from 2022 through 2026, and the volume is heavily recent — the company is only about seven years old but already has a substantial, almost entirely five-star written record, with two four-star reviews that are still positive rather than critical. Massachusetts verifies Wolf's home improvement contractor registration as active, and the company describes itself as licensed and insured, serving Peabody and the wider North Shore.
Nothing negative of substance surfaces in the written record. For a homeowner with a mix of projects — a remodel, an addition, some exterior work, maybe a deck — this is a company whose reviewers describe both the craftsmanship and the honesty to match, project after project.
