Frye's Landscaping Service & Excavation is a Haverhill company that, per its own website, traces back to 1984 and has grown from general landscaping into full landscape design, installation, maintenance, irrigation and bulk-material delivery across the Merrimack Valley, North Shore and into southern New Hampshire. The written record is mixed. In a review from this past February, a customer who uses a handicap parking space thanked the crew by name after they cleared a snowbank that had trapped their car — calling it going above and beyond. A 2023 review likewise praised the quality of the work and said they'd recommend the company. But two other accounts tell a rougher story: a January 2025 review said one of two drivers was exceptionally rude and unhelpful, and that the company ignored a complaint raised about it afterward, and a separate 2023 review called the crew and supervisors unprofessional, without further detail. Worth asking about before booking: given the split between attentive, above-and-beyond service on one job and unprofessional behavior described on others, it's worth asking who specifically would be handling the work.
