A September 2022 customer said Carlos Funez replaced damaged subfloors within a week of the initial contact, and praised his practical, efficient work. A July 2024 customer described a very different experience with exterior repairs. That customer reported white overspray on plants and entry-area surfaces, gutter and porch repairs coming apart after six months, and no corrective work despite asking the contractor to stand behind it. The reviewer also alleged that caulk had concealed poor woodwork. The Windsor company advertises remodeling, new construction, additions and structural repairs on Houzz. Its Connecticut home improvement contractor registration is inactive due to non-renewal. Houzz’s profile describes the company as licensed and insured. Google reports three stars from two ratings.
Horrible experience stay away . Would not stand by work. He got overspray all over my bushes and front entry way. White overspray on my front screen door and on my nlack window shutters and mailbox. The repairs he made on my gutters and front porch started to come apart ofter six months and he did not stand by his work and make repairs. He used alot of caulk to hide poor woodworking workmanship that eventually washed away and reveiled the poor work.
I hired Carlos Funez to replace damaged subfloors in my home. Carlos completed the work within one week of me contacting him. He was practical, efficient, and profesional. I will likely contact him again for future projects.
