A century-old house, small roof defects spotted by drone, and a report clear enough to hand to repair contractors: that is how one recent customer describes Gander Inspections. John and Kim receive praise for a thorough inspection and an organized written document. Another homeowner says John explained which findings could wait and which needed attention sooner, then emailed a detailed report after encouraging questions in person. An October 2026 customer called about possible bathroom mold. They say John found no mold, advised against additional testing, and identified old galvanized piping and rust during the inspection. The customer also praised same-day report delivery. Gander has four Google ratings averaging five stars, all from 2026. Its website states that it is insured.
John and Kim are really nice and great to work with. The inspection was thorough and I really appreciate the highly legible and organized inspection document they gave me - it will be really easy to reference and show anyone working on my 100 year old house. Also John had a great eye using his drone to catch a few tiny problem areas on my roof!
John recently performed an inspection on my home. He was very thorough and professional. He explained all of his findings clearly and went into detail about what things were minor and could wait, and what things might need to be addressed sooner. After he explained everything to me in person he emailed me a very detailed report so I could remember everything we had talked about. He was very easy to talk to and encouraged questions. Very good experience, highly recommended.
Excellent service, honest advice , attention to detail, and same day reporting! We had a great experience with Gander Inspections! We originally reached out to have our small bathroom inspected for potential mold, and John was fantastic from start to finish. He was thorough, professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain his findings clearly. Thankfully, there was no mold, and rather than recommending unnecessary additional testing, John honestly advised us that no further testing was needed. What really impressed us, though, was that during his inspection, he also identified our old galvanized piping and an existing rust issue that could lead to bigger problems down the road. Since we’ve been considering a full bathroom renovation, this was incredibly valuable information. Now we have the opportunity to address the plumbing before starting the renovation, potentially saving us from much bigger headaches and expenses in the future. It’s refreshing to work with someone who is honest, detail-oriented, and genuinely looking out for the customer’s best interests rather than trying to sell unnecessary services. His attention to detail and willingness to go the extra mile made a great impression on us. I highly recommend Gander Inspections services to anyone looking for a thorough, trustworthy, and knowledgeable inspector. Can’t beat the same day report delivery. Five stars all the way!
John and Kim are super knowledgeable and trustworthy and are worth the consideration! Happy to know these two!
