GH Tree Services and Landscaping

Call about a tree and the answer usually comes fast. In a September 2025 review, someone arranging trimming for an elderly client — limbs had to come off the house for insurance — says Pedro and his team responded immediately and were out within a day at a reasonable price. GH Tree Services and Landscaping works out of Lynn, calls itself family-owned, and lists tree removal and trimming, plantings, sod, irrigation, hardscaping and concrete or paver work on its own site. The lawn side draws the same kind of write-up. A June 2026 customer describes mowing at a height that keeps the grass healthy rather than scalping it, with sharp edging. In a May 2026 review, a landscape designer says the crew prepped a site and installed new plantings for one of their clients and would recommend them again. Further back, an August 2024 review from a homeowner whose house was listed for sale describes an answer within minutes, a set price the same day, and the work done the next morning in the rain; a July 2024 customer had a boulder removed and a trench dug and filled for pool electrical work. Then there is a 1-star review from August 2025, and it is specific: three hours late to a scheduled estimate with no call, a job booked for Saturday at noon that did not start until 5pm after another day of waiting, and a promised return for brush pickup that never came. Other customers call the crew prompt and on time, so the practical move is to pin the appointment window down and get a number to call when it slips. The company's own site says 10 years in business; its Angi profile self-reports 6 years of experience. For seasonal cutting, plantings and a straightforward tree removal around Lynn and the North Shore towns on its list, this is a crew that moves quickly, and several customers say the price they were given up front is the price they paid. Get the scheduling window in writing, and ask the company directly for its certificate of insurance rather than taking a reviewer's word for it.
