Gilbride Electric is based at 87 Progress Ave. in Tyngsborough and says it has served Middlesex County homes and businesses since 1984. Its own site describes residential, commercial, industrial, generator, petroleum, electric-vehicle charging, and design work; Houzz also lists design-build, construction, electrical, and remodeling services. The recent Google history is mostly positive: seven of eight 2026 reviews are five-star accounts describing breaker work, outdoor-light and box reconnection after siding, wiring replacement, service upgrades, and clear explanations. Reviewers repeatedly mention responsive scheduling, efficient and tidy crews, knowledgeable technicians, and owner John’s explanations. Google lists 4.6 stars from 10 ratings. One February 2026 review raises a specific concern about a broken generator, delayed callbacks, and no appointment being set despite repeated contact. Before booking, confirm generator-response timing, the appointment date, pricing and scope, and which technician will handle the work. Houzz lists license claim CS-078492; verify the credential and its scope directly. Gilbride appears best suited to homeowners and businesses seeking electrical installation, repair, wiring, service upgrades, or generator work, especially when the job requires a full-service electrical contractor. Ask for a written estimate and confirm emergency availability before work begins.
Excellent service from start to finish I recently hired Gilbride electric for electrical work in my home and I couldn’t be happy with the experience from the first phone call their team was responsive, courteous and clear about scheduling and pricing. The electricians arrived right on time worked efficiently and explained everything they were doing in a way that was easy to understand. The quality of their work was outstanding neat safe and up the code they even want the extra mile to tidy up after themselves which I really appreciated. It’s clear they take pride in the craftsmanship and care about customer satisfaction if you’re looking for a reliable knowledgeable and trustworthy electrician I highly recommend Gilbride electric. I’ll definitely be calling them again for a gain for future projects.
Great work!
This was a big job - as part of getting our siding replaced, all our outdoor electric lights and boxes had been removed and needed to be set back up. The team did a great job, they got everything reconnected and fixed several components that did not survive the siding work. Very happy with the results!
Gilbride handled all the electrical removal and reinstall from my re-siding project. Frank and Henry were a beautiful combination of knowledgeable, friendly, and professional.
It is really great to have quality people doing jobs that matter. Frank and Henry are excellent at what they do. They came here took care of all the lights and outlets for us. Reinstall everything check to make sure they worked before leaving. I like that they take the time to care about what they do great guys and I would hire them without hesitation on any electrical job again. Thank you for doing such a great job.
