In an October 2023 review, a homeowner said Marcelo gave a quick estimate, ordered materials, was at the house every morning and even on a Saturday, and left the new deck and yard spotless. Another that month hired the team to replace siding that turned into a partial roof replacement, and said Marcelo and Henry finished all of it in four days. A January 2022 customer, new to Connecticut, said Marcelo removed, sanded and painted the kitchen cabinets and installed a new wall oven and dishwasher within the agreed deadline, in time to host family for Christmas. In April 2025, customers who hired him to find a leak said he patiently diagnosed it, replaced a window, and charged a fair price; they have used the company for big and small jobs since. An October 2024 reviewer had a side porch and picket fence installed and noted the company carried insurance including workers' compensation. Two reviews flag friction. Marcelo and his team did an exceptional job. Marcelo is a craftsman and very detail oriented. Marcelo is also very professional and prompt and I appreciated the open communication on project status and when he and his team would be on site.

We hired Marcelo and his team to find and fix a leak. It involved assessing the problem which he patiently did and determined the best fix which involved a window replacement. His work was professional, efficient and fairly priced. We have been using GM Carpentry and remodeling for both big and small jobs ever since.
Marcelo was a joy to work with! He installed a new side porch for us and a new picket fence. Both jobs were done perfectly and he and his employees were very neat. (Also, had all the necessary insurance coverage, including WC.) Highly recommend!
