Golden Hill Landscape and Construction describes itself as a landscaping, hardscaping, lawn care and fencing contractor based in Marlborough. A recent Google customer said the crew was punctual, the yard looks neat and the pricing was fair. A 2023 Angi customer said Aroldo and his team built a retaining wall and installed a drainage system to relieve a water flooding problem in their backyard, then hired him right away for a second project. A 2023 Google customer needed lawn restoration around a new addition and said the company regraded, brought in soil, spread it and seeded, arriving with heavy equipment a few days after the quote was approved. A 2023 Google reviewer wrote that the company designed and installed a new front walkway. A 2024 HomeAdvisor customer said they hardscaped the back yard and called the price a good value for the work. A 2024 Google customer said the quote process was straightforward and the crew plowed and shoveled their driveway. A 2025 Thumbtack customer said a fall cleanup cleared every leaf, branch and bit of debris, and that areas they had not mentioned were tidied too. A 2025 Thumbtack customer said Aroldo showed up as agreed and removed a bee nest on the outside of the garage. A 2026 Angi customer said the company answered all their questions. A 2025 Thumbtack customer who needed a wasp nest removed said Aroldo came right away but the treatment didn't work, and that he then gave repeated time windows to return and never showed; that customer's tenant was stung. A 2025 Google customer with projects at their late mother's house said they paid for a job that was not done and another that was left unfinished, plus a french drain that was causing a sink hole, with buried equipment now above ground. That 2025 customer also said the company broke the house's vinyl siding while cutting a tree branch and refused to fix it, and called the quality of the work atrocious. The same 2025 reviewer wrote that the owner began ignoring them after the problems were raised, that the company agreed to quote a second property and never showed up, and accused it of overcharging, writing that snowplowing is expensive. BBB gives the company an A- grade and lists it as not accredited.
