Vega Landscape & Construction works both halves of a yard: the weekly mowing route and the build. A 2022 reviewer said the crew had been coming every week for years and would turn up for emergency lawn and garden work within two or three days of a phone call. A June 2025 customer described a different side of it — a competitive free estimate, then several meetings with Walter and Brandon to pick pavers for a porch renovation, plus direction on a french drain that the reviewer said saved money. The Marlborough company's own site lists landscape design, lawn care, cleanups, hardscaping, snow removal, deck work and fence installation. Its Thumbtack profile, with 23 projects posted, adds masonry, tree trimming and removal, patio additions and interior painting, and lists owner Brandon Vega as background-checked in July 2024, with 21 years in business and five employees. The fifteen written reviews across Google and Thumbtack run from 2022 to 2025, against a 5.0 average from 31 Google ratings. The detailed ones tend to land on craft: a May 2024 customer noticed how the crew tied in an irregular driveway seam and kept the job site clean, a 2023 homeowner with a dried-out, patchy lawn said it was brought back for a reasonable price, and a July 2024 Thumbtack reviewer said the patio team took their ideas and built them into the design. The bidding comes up repeatedly too: reviewers going back to February 2023 describe Brandon coming out quickly to price the job and answering questions, one of them calling after a neighbor's recommendation. A good fit for a Marlborough-area homeowner who wants one outfit for the mowing and for a patio or drainage project. Because the work spans both, ask which parts of your job the crew does itself, get the hardscape scope and materials listed in the quote, and confirm the company's insurance before anyone starts digging.
