Power washing, an exterior stain, gutter downspouts removed and put back, shutters taken down, painted and rehung: a recent customer listed all of that in one job by Clei and his team, and called the cost fair and competitive. One recent customer gathered quotes from nearly 10 painters before choosing Gonti Painting. That customer said Clei was upfront about the timeline and the scope of the prep work, the team showed up on time every day and finished ahead of schedule, and the price he gave did not change. A recent customer said Clei Marinho and his crew worked hard all day through some very hot days. A 2025 customer wrote that Gonti painted their house, barn and chicken house, then waited through the fall and winter before reviewing; that 2025 customer said the paint showed no peeling or cracks. The same 2025 customer named Clei as the owner and said Gonti's quote was the lowest of the three they received. A 2025 customer said Clei suggested a shutter color after the chosen samples did not work out, and repaired and painted an old deck. A 2024 customer said the team "arrived each day at 630 and were ready to go at 7." A 2023 customer said they noticed a few spots the workers may have missed, and that the house looked great after the job. On Angi and HomeAdvisor, the company shows 5.0 stars from 97 ratings on each. Connecticut lists its home improvement contractor registration, HIC.0649092, as active, held by Gonti Painting Services LLC.
Clei and his excellent team did a great job in staining the exterior of my home. Power washed , removed and reinstalled gutter downspouts, removed, painted and reinstalled shutters. The cost was fair and extremely competitive. On time, every day. Polite, professional, answered any and all questions. Best job ever, I would highly recommend. Thank you Clei and team. Bob A. North Stamford,
Clei Marinho and his crew are very professional and talented group of painters. They were polite, on time, and worked very hard all day during some very hot days. I can highly recommend them to anyone.
I can’t say enough great things about Clei and his team at Gonti Painting. Before making our decision, we received quotes from nearly 10 different painters, and no one came close to matching Gonti’s professionalism, responsiveness, value, and attention to detail. From our very first meeting, we felt confident we could trust Clei with our home. He was upfront and honest about the timeline, the scope of the prep work, and every aspect of the project. His team showed up on time every day, worked diligently, and even finished ahead of schedule. Clei went above and beyond our expectations, paying attention to every detail and ensuring the finished product was exceptional. Most importantly, he gave us a price and stuck to it! Not a penny more. After 20 years in our home, we were amazed by the transformation. If you’re considering hiring Gonti Painting, do it with complete confidence. You won’t regret it. Thank you, Clei!
