A 1928 house in Providence got a lead remediation project from Good Deeds Painting & Renovating, including paint on the entire exterior and some windows. That recent customer said that whenever they saw a flaw, a crew member was fixing it before they could point it out. The company describes itself on the BBB as a residential and commercial painting business, and its website names Cranston, Providence, East Greenwich, North Kingstown and Warwick as its service area. It says it has been in business 11 years. On Google it holds 4.8 stars from 68 ratings, and the BBB grades it A+. A recent customer said Mike gets back quickly and is easy to reach, and that the team on the house, with Ed as the main contact, showed up when they said they would. That customer had hired a different contractor before and said it cost both time and money. A recent review said the team of painters did a great job on the house. A 2025 customer said they renovated the basement, working continuously to get a big job done quickly, with Mike Checko orchestrating the job.
We engaged Good Deeds Painting and Restoration for a complete lead remediation project on our aging 1928 house in Providence. This included painting the entire exterior and some windows. The paint job makes our house shine and the crew was actually fun to deal with. Whenever we saw a flaw there was a crew member fixing it before we could tell them about it! We highly reccommend Good Deeds Painting and Restoration for any project large or small.
Great job. Would use again.
The team of painters did a great job with my house. Very professional and I’d recommend them to anyone.
Mike and his team are absolutely the best to work with. Mike gets back to you very quickly does very great work and is easy to get in touch with. The team that worked on my house with Ed as the main contact were professional responsive showed up when they said they were gonna show up and overall great experience. And I should know unfortunately I hired the wrong person/contractor before him who didn’t know what he was doing and it cost me both time and money. I think leadership starts at the top and with Mike at the top who is honest, reliable, knowledgeable, friendly can’t say enough good things about all of them.
Absolutely talented and reliable professionals. They came in and renovated our basement working continuously to get a BIG job done VERY quickly. I highly recommend them. Mike Checko, the contractor orchestrated this whole operation like a symphony. No hitches. I highly recommend their services.
