Solis Painting, LLC

"He has been working for me for 20 years" — that is how one Angi customer, writing in March 2020, described Solis Painting, adding that he was very dependable, sincere and honest. A second Angi review from May 2020 praised a reasonably priced job and his attention to detail. Both Angi ratings are five stars. The company describes itself on Angi as doing commercial and residential painting, and its Angi service menu runs from interior and exterior painting and staining to power washing, drywall, wall and ceiling texture, wallpaper and epoxy floor systems. The most recent written account is a different story. In a June 2023 Google review, a tenant in the building where the crew was working on the apartment above said workers repeatedly showed up after 5 pm and ran power tools until as late as 10 pm, refused to stop when a first-floor neighbor asked for the sake of a sleeping toddler, and left garbage and construction debris around the building for weeks before cleaning it up. That is the company's only Google rating, at one star. The Rhode Island contractor registry lists the company's home improvement registration, GC-35588, held by Solis Painting LLC, as expired.
