Gorilla Dumpster Rentals

Gorilla Dumpster Rentals rents roll-off dumpsters out of East Haven, and its Google page shows 4.9 stars from 112 ratings. The company's website says its 20-yard construction-sized dumpsters suit most projects, and it lists a service area that includes Guilford, Madison, Clinton, Branford, Hamden, Milford, Wallingford, Ansonia and New Haven. A recent customer said the price was very reasonable compared to other companies they checked, and that Dawn was helpful and accommodating on the phone. A recent reviewer wrote that Dawn, the owner, was kind and helpful, and that drop-off and pick-up were seamless. A 2025 customer said Dawn talked them through what size would be enough, never trying to oversell, and let them keep the dumpster a few extra days at no additional charge during the slow time of year. A 2024 customer said they were advised to apply for an obstruction permit in case the dumpster had to go in the street; it ended up fitting in the driveway, which that customer credited to the driver's maneuvering. A 2022 customer said they called on a Thursday and got delivery the very next day, and that the drivers gave them time to put wood under the dumpster to protect the driveway before lowering it. In 2022, a customer clearing out old carpet said Dawn warned them rain was coming and to get a tarp so the carpet would not cost more from getting wet. A 2026 customer gave one star, saying the company did not accept wood, aluminum or mattresses, and that before taking a load it either removed those items or tried to charge more. A 2022 customer said the company was upfront about the costs of old television sets and mattresses.
