Panel replacement, service upgrades and household electrical repairs are work Gottier Electric customers describe in detail. An August 2026 reviewer credited Kevin and the crew with replacing an outdated panel and installing switches and outlets to address old aluminum wiring. That customer also praised his advice about a detached-garage electrical hookup and said he arrived as promised. The Ellington company describes itself as family-owned and serves Vernon, Ellington, Somers, Tolland, South Windsor, Manchester and Stafford. It advertises service upgrades and repairs, generator installations and hookups, and electrical work for remodeling and new construction. The website offers free estimates and says the company is insured. Google shows a five-star average from 18 ratings, with written reviews spanning 2021–2026. In December 2025, a customer said Kevin repaired a dishwasher outlet and installed a range-hood fan and light, leaving the appliances working. An October 2025 homeowner described water entering a basement electrical panel after a storm; they said Gottier replaced the panel, meter box and conduits. Older accounts describe larger upgrades too. An August 2023 customer reported a change from 100-amp to 200-amp service, power to a shed, new lighting, fans and outlets. An October 2024 customer described moving a dryer outlet, adding household outlets and installing a generator hookup, with an appointment about a week after calling.
Highly recommend Kevin and his crew. Kevin had great insight on electrical hook up for our new detached garage, replaced our outdated electrical panel box and installed new switches and outlets to remediate the old dangerous aluminum wiring we had. He shows up as promised, very professional and a pleasure to do business with !
Kevin came very quickly and was very knowledgeable about the problems we were having with the electrical for the appliances. You can tell he takes a lot of pride in his work. He diagnosed and fixed the outlet for the dishwasher and also installed a range hood fan and light, so everything is now working and we are so happy! He took a lot of care and was very kind and courteous. I highly recommend him and his company!
After a recent rainstorm we found water pouring from the electrical panel in our basement. We called Gottier Electric and Kevin answered right away. He was able to diagnose the problem over the phone and offered a reasonable quote for repairs. Gottier Electric replaced our panel, meter box, and conduits. They did a great job! All the new fixtures look great, and I never have to worry about water in the panel again. We happily recommend Gottier.
I tried Gottier Electric on the recommendation of a friend, and I'm glad I did! I had them move a 240V outlet for my dryer, add a number of 120V outlets throughout the house, and add a generator hook up. They were able to schedule about a week after I called and offered a fair price. I'll be using them again for all my future electrical needs.
Great experience today with Cody M. & Kevin Gottier with Gottier Electric. Extremely professional, economical and efficient. Thank you!!
