A 2025 reviewer wrote that Dane, the owner, came out to quote a job when half the first floor had no power, and that Will and Bob later did an upgrade with three new dedicated circuits and an outside circuit for the generator in one long day. A 2023 customer said they handled all the electrical work for a full gut kitchen, including recessed and pendant lights, switches and outlets. A 2024 customer said the company installed outdoor outlets, arrived right on time and offered advice on where to put them. A Reddit commenter said Thorogood Electric was prompt and reasonably priced during their kitchen remodel four years ago. A recent customer, an Enfield senior citizen, called on a Friday to get a circuit breaker replaced and was told someone could come the following Thursday for an estimate, while needing power restored to that side of the house. A 2026 customer who had used the business for personal and commercial jobs said the technicians were always respectful, but gave two stars over dealings with the front office.

Enfield senior citizen.Needed to have circuit breaker replaced (I think— I’m no electrician). Called on a Friday and was told someone could come the following Thursday for estimate?? Try to always support local but seems they are way too busy to help. Not an emergency but needed power restored that side of house!
I’ve used this business for both personal and commercial jobs, my encounters with the technicians have always been of respect and great quality service. Unfortunately, my 2 star review reflects the communication between myself and front office/secretary. She has proved on several occasions that she is immature and ill equipped to handle strong women personalities. As a fellow business owner, I would strongly advise ownership to remove their weakest link, as a business is only as successful as their weakest employee. It’s safe to say I will not be reaching out for any further personal or commercial jobs from this establishment. If ownership, communicates that she has been removed, I would be open to revising my decision.
I called Thorogood Electric to come out and fix a few outdoor lights that are chained to a few outlets. Tim came out quickly and went above and beyond what I had asked to make sure everything was working and set up for any future electrical outside. I would 100% recommend Thorogood to anyone that needs electrical, no matter the size.
I kept losing power to parts of my house-mainly the well, furnace, washing machine, and some outlets around the house. It was very perplexing why, and very frustrating not having water. I called Thorogood Electric. Dane sent his electrician Will out the next day. He showed up promptly and listened to the issues I was having. He got his tools and got to work. He found the issue very quickly. He patiently explained what the problem was, and how he was going to fix it. He had the parts in his service van and asked permission to repair. He fixed my electrical issues right on the spot and took pictures to show me exactly what he repaired. Will was polite, courteous, and very professional. He was extremely knowledgeable-a real expert electrician and fixed my electrical issues quickly, saving me lots of time and money! I recommend them for anyone having electrical issues!!!
I have had the absolute pleasure of having services done by staff from Thorogood electric. Everyone has been polite, kind, and most of all efficient in their work. They take pride in the work they do and it shows.
