Typical Greater Boston range for this kind of work, from regional averages — not a quote from Grace Electrical Services. Use it to sanity-check bids, then get the real number in writing.
Standard receptacle swaps — a new dedicated circuit is a bigger job ($350–$750).
Flush mounts, pendants, chandeliers — hung on existing boxes.
Estimated range

Typical electrical project around $820
“Contractors used included Ryan Grace of Grace Electrical Services and Lion Paws Painting, both of Leverett”
Grace Electric is great. Ryan is knowledgeable and friendly. And showed up when he said he would. Due to an unforeseen issue (our mistake) with a construction project which Ryan had prepared the home for, we needed some work done on an immediate basis and Ryan was available with no advanced notice despite being very busy. Could not ask for more.
Knowledgeable but not usually unavailable. Took on my house project. Didn't return calls and then told me to "feel free to find someone else to finish". I'm assuming he took on more work than he could handle or he just felt that my project wasn't lucrative enough. Too bad because he is a nice guy but couldn't find time in his schedule to fit me in... for over 4 or 5 months.
Ryan did a great job on our newly remodeled upstairs. We have a very old house, with some complicated electrical issues. He removed the knob and tube electric and put in all new electric. We are very pleased with the outcome. He stuck with us even though the project took a long time.
wonderful! Professional, great communication and completed job needed. I will be asking to help with additional electrical upgrades when we can do that.
Beware this guy he came did nothing then disappeared months ago now many months later he sends a bill for $522 my job is not done he never called back Protect yourself "let the buyer beware"
