The kayak rack the owner had agreed to build was nothing like the design agreed on months earlier, and he decided not to sell it to them. That customer called him a nice enough guy but over-extended with his workload.

On Facebook marketplace, saw an offer from this company to build a firewood storage shed on my property. We agreed to a design, price and timeframe for the project. I also asked if the owner could build a simple kayak rack for the yard, and sent him a photo of the desired design. He replied: "Yes, I can definitely build that rack for you." We agreed on the price and that he would deliver it the same day as the shed was being built.
Long story short, the owner re-scheduled the shed building project several times - sometimes because of competing priorities, at least once because he forgot about it, once 'cuz of very hot weather, and another unexplained no-show.
The shed was built and it's fine, except it did require an additional adjustment after it was completed. Owner promised to bring the finished kayak rack when here to do the adjustment. It was at that time that he texted me a photo of the rack he'd built; it was nothing like what we had agreed to months earlier. Therefore, he decided not to sell it to me. Now, my firewood is dry but I am in the back end of summertime with NO rack for my boats and no contractors around who can build one any time soon.
Very disappointed in the communications with this company and his broken promises on timing and delivery. He's a nice enough guy, but over-extended with his workload.

We decided to move it a few feet as we had overlooked it would be outside our window blocking the desired sounds of nature. We found it moved easily without issue due to the skid base.
