In June 2025 a Google reviewer wrote that Luke and his team at Green Mountain Timber Frames brought a 1740s-era barn down to add as a great room and kitchen to the reviewer's existing home in Water Mill, NY. The reviewer said the barn frame and the antique roof boards exceeded expectations, and called Luke and his crew knowledgeable about every part of re-erecting the frame as well as timber framers. Green Mountain Timber Frames works out of Middletown Springs, Vermont. Its site says it was incorporated in 1983 and that it locates and restores hand-hewn post-and-beam structures, which become custom-designed timber frame homes. In October 2025 a Google reviewer praised the company's craftsmanship and called its attention to detail and passion remarkable. In a March 2025 r/vermont post, a commenter gave Green Mountain Timber Frames a shout-out for its craftsmanship, its preservation work and its Vermont maple syrup. The Rutland Herald has also covered the company. On Google it holds 5 stars from 8 ratings.

We could not have asked for a more professional, talented, and extraordinary group of people to work with on this project. Not only do the barn frame and the beautiful antique roof boards exceed our expectations, Luke has been truly wonderful to work with from start to finish. Luke and his entire crew are all exemplary people. They are also extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of the process of re-erecting the frame in addition to being great timber framers.
