A recent 1-star customer who had Green State do all the work on a new house says that work was fine, but a heating service visit at the two-year mark left a working system not working, and after two visits it still was not functioning. That customer says they went five days without heat and hot water and that further calls went unanswered. The same customer reports a basement flood attributed to a faulty sillcock install that froze, says Green State paid them $1000 to avoid court, and says they are now installing a new system to replace the one Green State installed after getting no response from Alec.
2nd update: We continue to have issues with the heating system and are now in the process of installing a new system to replace the 5 year old one Green State installed. At this point the constant problems and lack of any response from ALEC has made it difficult to trust. We also had a basement flood attributed to a faulty sillcock install that froze. Never in my 68 years have I been so disappointed in a company. To absolutely abandon a customer after plumbing their entire house is unforgivable. update: Green state paid us $1000 to avoid court. we've since gotten a new plumber, but still have issues with Green states install. first was low pressure and green state never installed a pressure gage. now today, we're back to no heat due to a sensor failure. I've repeatedly asked Alec to respond and get zero response. We are not difficult customers, pay our bills early and have never bitched, but his lack of response or assumption of liability is infuriating. We had Green state do all the work on our new house 2 years ago. That work was fine. Per their recommendation, we had them service our heating system at the 2 year mark. It was working perfectly, but supposedly should be cleaned. Their tech turned our perfectly performing system into non working by what ever he introduced into the system. After 2 visits to fix, it still was not functioning. After that, he said he was busy and to call emergency service and he would pay. Further calls went unanswered. After 5 days and multiple calls to other businesses, we got the situation resolved. 5 days of no heat and hot water. While he promised to pay the emergency services fee, he won’t respond to anything I send. I have everything documented. Who leaves people hanging like that? Use them at your own risk.
Green State Plumbing diagnosed our plumbing problem, provided a free estimate, and scheduled the repair quickly. The technician, Justin, was professional and personable. I gladly recommend them.
The entire process was handled very well and we are so happy we worked with Green State on our boiler installation. Nick and Jacob were fantastic - friendly, professional and thorough. They were done in a day and a half and cleaned up completely.
They did a terrific job replacing our computer room AC.
Alec and his professional team at Green State Plumbing are the best. Prompt, courteous, knowledgeable professionals. I highly recommend them for any project!
