On Google it holds 4.8 stars from 152 ratings. A recent customer who signed up for the Four Step Program in the spring of 2024 said the dandelions and other weeds had been out of control and they were also having problems with Japanese Beetles and other pests; within a couple of weeks they started to see a noticeable difference. That customer gets advance notice of the technician's arrival for each application. A recent customer said the spreader tractor made it through the gates of their backyard fence, and that most of the dandelions eventually began to curl after the broadleaf management. A recent customer said they had used the company for over a year and had no problems with ticks or fleas. In a 2025 review, a customer said Anthony went over the lawn several different ways to make sure all was covered. A 2025 customer said that since Green Thumb came on board they no longer saw ticks on themselves when they gardened. In a 2022 review, a customer said the company applied grub control and a time released fertilizer and weed control to a local Little League field. A 2025 one-star review called the employees incredibly rude.
I have been a customer of Green Thumb Lawn Service for years and have always been satisfied with the service the company and its employees have provided me. When I have had the occasion to speak with the company's office, the employees have always been helpful and courteous. The gentlemen actually attending to my lawn throughout the spring, summer and fall have been very professional and friendly. I can easily, and without reservation, recommend this company.

Green Thumb gave us a heads up about delivery date and arrived on that date. The spreader tractor was able to make it through the gates of our backyard fence. It does take some time to see the effects of broadleaf management but, eventually most of the dandelions began to curl with clover and oxalis following. Combined with 2 much needed rains, the lawn has improved markedly. Good job!
Very good on getting back on questions
I have been using Green Thumb Lawn Service since the Spring of 2024. I signed up for the Four Step Program. The dandelions and other weeds were out of control, and I was also having problems with Japanese Beetles and other pests. Within a couple of weeks, I started to see a noticeable difference. By the end of 2024 my lawn was everything I hoped it would be. One of the key benefits to me is that in addition to saving myself the labor of spreading the various supplies, I no longer need to purchase and store the raw materials or application tools necessary for my lawn maintenance. I get advance notice of the technician's arrival for each application, and the technicians are professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. I do have a dog that loves being outdoors, and by following Green Thumb's advice and precautions I do not have to worry about my pet's safety. I highly recommend Green Thumb Lawn Service!
