Gregoire Plastering

Horsehair-plaster repairs in a 1920s house and extensive plaster repairs in a historic building are among the jobs customers describe for Gregoire Plastering. The company’s website identifies a Mason, New Hampshire base and also names Marion and Mattapoisett, Massachusetts, as service areas. It describes interior plastering, plaster repair, wooden lathing, historic restoration and structural work on beams and purlins. The company says it has more than 40 years of contracting-industry experience and hundreds of completed projects. A May 2026 homeowner with horsehair plaster says Gregoire worked on patches and a couple of walls in their 1920s house. They praised the crew’s knowledge of that material and particularly appreciated the cleanup after previous experiences with workers leaving a mess. A June 2026 customer credits Gary with extensive plaster repair in a historic building, describing clear communication and timely completion. Another homeowner, writing in August 2026, says the company repaired storm-related water damage. There are smaller jobs too. In June 2026, a customer says a worker arrived on time to assess a plastering job, decided it was small enough to tackle immediately and returned from his truck with the materials. About an hour later, the job was finished, at a price the customer considered fair. A May customer describes plaster patchwork completed efficiently with an on-time arrival. Customers also name Gary and Cedar together. A painter writing in June 2026 praised their plaster work in Mattapoisett. A separate June homeowner says the pair completed a primary-suite addition and were clean, organized and respectful while working in finished spaces. In May 2026, another customer says the team pointed out that their ceiling was going to collapse, and that after the work and a couple of coats of paint, it looked new. An older recommendation places the business in Mason as well: in July 2023, a Reddit commenter who said they knew the company personally recommended Gregoire and wrote that it had previously worked mainly on Nantucket before a move.
