Griggs & Browne is a pest and termite control company based in Providence, RI. Its website says it was founded in 1910, reports 116 years in business, and describes service across Southeastern MA, Cape Cod, Martha's Vineyard/Nantucket, Rhode Island and Connecticut, along with carpet/tile/upholstery cleaning and home inspections. The website says David Heal became President and Cindy Guerra Vice President after Dan Griggs's death in April 2023. It holds an A+ grade with the Better Business Bureau. In a 2025 review, Mike evaluated and exterminated at the home of a 93-year-old in hospice with minimal impact to her living situation. Another 2025 review praised a "tic control program" on Martha's Vineyard and pointed to the Buzzards Bay office. In a 2024 review, Chris Camara took care of a yellow jacket problem. In another 2024 review, they came the same day as the call and took care of a carpenter bee problem, with Mike Carello named. In a 2023 review, Griggs & Browne had provided rodent and pest control inspections and baiting at a Martha's Vineyard home for at least the past 10 years. In another 2023 review, Lisa in the office and Lenny, the service manager, scheduled a site evaluation and quote the same day after a tenant reported cockroaches. In a 2022 review, a recently purchased house on the edge of an abandoned cranberry bog, overrun with insects and rodents, saw results within a matter of days. In a 2026 review, the reviewer said the company did not solve their pest control needs and described a very rude supervisor. In a 2024 review, a contract for quarterly foundation spraying and glue traps brought only glue traps at the second treatment because the company said it was too cold to spray; the reviewer later added that the company apologized by email for the miscommunication. In a 2023 review, mice traps were set and checked once, and three calls about more activity never brought another visit. In another 2023 review, carpenter ant remediation missed a third hot spot. In a 2022 review, an inspector said there were no fleas and suggested a dermatologist for the bites. A 2025 review objected to a salesperson going door to door selling treatment.

Idk how we would survive winter without Brittne especially living near a forest with a river. Shes very professional and polite, and always goes the extra mile. Brittne is one of the biggest reasons as to why i continue my business with this company. We appreciate her tremendously.
BRITTNE IS THAT GIRL !!!! Very thankful for her and for taking care of our home. She always makes time for us whenever we reach out. We are lucky to have her. I hope you guys feel the same and let her know how much she’s appreciated.
Mike was amazing at my 93 yr old Mother in Laws who is in hospice in her home with live in nursing aids. He saw the situation and went out of his way to evaluate & exterminate with minimal impact to her living situation. His technical knowledge and sensitivity was super appreciated. Thank you Mike!
Great dashcam footage of one of their vans unable to stay in their lane. Driver was visually confirmed to be texting instead of paying attention to the road. I95 North, 7/10/2025 between 12 and 1 pm.
