Guarco Construction is a Granby paving company that says it was established in 1974 and serves greater Hartford, doing residential paving alongside commercial paving and snow removal. Its Connecticut home improvement contractor registration, number HIC.0552031, is active on the state registry under Guarco Construction Company Inc. Carl Guarco and his son Kyle are the names on the driveway jobs. A recent Google customer who hired them for a driveway extension said Kyle came out the same day to quote it, and that Carl and Kyle took the time to explain the project and answer every question. A customer with a drainage issue behind the house said Kyle suggested having the paving work with the existing drainage system. On another recent job, they sent pictures and videos along the way to a customer who was at work during the driveway work. A 2026 HomeAdvisor customer with sink holes in a driveway extension said Carl told them the main driveway was fine and only the side extension needed replacing. A 2025 HomeAdvisor customer said Carl and Kyle replaced and expanded an asphalt driveway and installed a channel drain to correct rainwater running into the garage. A 2025 Google customer said they burned off weeds to finish the prep with no additional charge after the customer's own repeated delays. A 2025 Google customer said Kyle helped plow their snow at the last minute, though he did not typically plow residentially. In 2024, a Google reviewer complained that the street was blocked for over an hour during work on a neighbor's driveway despite four requests to move, and called the encounter very rude and abrasive.
Guarco construction did an excellent job on our driveway! 10/10 would recommend
I hired Guarco Construction to pave a driveway extension on the side of my house, and I couldn't be happier with the results. It was a great experience right from the beginning. Kyle came out the same day to quote the job, he explained the process and what to look for when comparing quotes for the job. Carl and his son Kyle were a pleasure to work with. They took the time to explain the project, answer all of my questions, and make sure every detail was done right. Their workmanship and attention to detail really show in the finished product. The paving looks fantastic and has greatly improved both the appearance and functionality of my property. The crew was hardworking, respectful, and kept the work area clean throughout the project. It's clear that Carl and Kyle take great pride in their work and genuinely care about customer satisfaction. I highly recommend Guarco Construction to anyone looking for quality paving work. Thank you, Carl and Kyle, for a job well done!
