I got 4 estimates for about 100 feet of a basic cedar fence at the edge of my property. I almost went with another company because I couldn't find many reviews. He's been in the business over two decades, so it was strange I couldnt find much information. I ended up choosing H & J because the owner was responsive and patient with me while I weighed the costs of different options. He came by two or three times and sent several pictures to help as I changed my mind at least three times. Once I decided on a fence, the price was about 15% lower than my other three estimates. The owner and his crew had the fence built within ten days. It was a pleasure working with H & J. I'll definitely be hiring them again when its time for my next home improvement. Edit: I had to change my review to 4 star. I made a mistake and told them I wanted the fence in a location that is actually 2 feet over into my neighbors property. Its entirely my mistake, and my review isn't changed because of that at all. H&J ghosted when I tried to hire them back to move the fence. I obviously am going to be paying as an entirely separate service, since the problem was my fault. They responded at first, but disappeared. Too bad. Ill happily change my review if its an extenuating circumstance.

Very happy with my fence installation after bad experiences in the past. Responsive to my inquiry and I received an estimate very quickly. Their price was better than other quotes too.

H & J Fencing took down an old cedar fence and installed a new 6' vinyl fence and arbor. Hernando and his crew were excellent. He answered all my questions and was professional. They came when they said they would, worked hard, took care of plantings, cleaned up when they were done. It looks beautiful.
