In February 2024 a one-star Google reviewer wrote that HANDYMAN by Polli charged over $2k for a simple interior door install, called the pricing more expensive than plumbing and electric, and described rude customer service. The South Burlington handyman service says it has been in business 25 years, and its website lists installation, assembly, household and property repairs, painting and touch-ups, carpentry, minor plumbing, minor electrical work and dryer vent cleaning. In November 2024 a four-star Google reviewer had a sink cabinet removed and a new cabinet and sink installed, plus a basement ceiling and stairway repair; Polli hired a plumber and an electrician as subs, and both jobs were done in 2 days. That reviewer called the handymen on time, neat and thorough, and wrote that it was "more expensive than many AND you get what you pay for," adding that sub prices were high. In April 2024 Nick and Ben from Polli replaced a piece of flashing for a Google reviewer and took away the old flashing. A December 2024 Google reviewer was contacted right away after an online inquiry and had the job scheduled and completed in a timely manner. In May 2024 an r/vermont commenter wrote that a hood vent installation on an hourly quote, which they expected to take a few hours, took 39 man hours and over $5k. In September 2026 an r/burlington commenter wrote that all they had ever heard is that Polli gives "ridiculous 'I don't want the job' quotes." Google shows 3.4 stars from 7 ratings, and the BBB grade is A+.

I am very pleased with the all around experience working with Polli. I first inquired for a project online and was contacted right away to setup an estimate appointment. The customer service after that was great! Very quick and informative. The job was scheduled and completed in a timely manner. The quality of the work was as expected and the speed was as expected. It was a great experience and fairly easy for me as the customer. I am very happy with the work and will keep Polli in mind for future projects. I'm super surprised at the variety of work they offer. Professional from start to finish. Prompt response to quote a price for a small kitchen project and a basement ceiling and stairway repair. Removed a sink cabinet and installed new cabinet and sink. Hired subs-plumber and electrician- who worked with them to get both jobs done in 2 days. Office staff were helpful, handymen were on time, neat, thorough. Work was excellent quality. More expensive than many AND you get what you pay for. Sub prices were high. My justification for it all was zero drama and efficiency.
