Over a two-month period Hanover Handyman completely updated three bedrooms and the hallway on the second floor of our house, replaced old paneling with new sheetrock walls, fixed/updated old insulation as needed, installed new sheetrock ceilings, replaced all doors and frames including the closets, added crown molding, and then painted all four rooms. The quality of their work was outstanding, particularly the sheetrock work and painting. But perhaps the best part was how they worked with us over the length of this project. It all started with a walk through that formed the basis for the ongoing work. From this came detailed and accurate estimates, followed by short discussions each morning regarding the work for that specific day. There was never any question about what they were doing. They clearly wanted and responded to our ideas and input, but felt free to offer new, creative suggestions based on their experience that truly lifted this work to a new level. They arrived each day at 9:30 AM, worked nonstop until 3 - 3:30 PM, with the last 30 minutes always dedicated to cleaning up from the work so we always had a clean house. All old wood, scraps and trash were picked up and disposed of each day. This enabled us to “live” comfortably in our house for two plus months while much of it was being renovated. They also provided invoices that were as clear as their estimates – there were never any surprises, and despite changes to this project that caused it to actually double in size over the two months, they completed it on time and within 3.8% of his estimate
We had a great experience working with Chris to install some shelving in our home. He was very helpful, honest, and responsive, and did quality work for a very reasonable rate. We were very happy with the results, and have already reached out to him again to work on another project!
