Harisi Energy does home energy audits, and a recent Google customer described what one involved: Andrew and Elaysha used spray foam to fill gaps, caulked around the windows and fitted door kits with sweeps. That customer called it the "Best 40.00 we ever spent." The company's own site lists Watertown as its service area and pitches home performance upgrades to eliminate drafts and take control of a home's temperature, moisture level and air quality. A recent customer who booked an assessment through the UI program said Martin Harisi and Paola Cartagena installed new door weather stripping, sealed gaps around the lower frames of the windows, replaced a TV power strip and showerhead, and filled gaps in the garage ceiling. A recent customer said that on an audit with Andrew and his assistant, the house was tested, drafts were sealed and recommendations for future upgrades were made. A recent reviewer wrote that Harisi is partnering with Energize CT, and that they inspected the house, fixed some things on the spot and suggested next steps. A recent customer said Andrew and Lay worked on improving the house's insulation. A 2026 customer said Gloria entered a small attic where a snake had made its home during their energy audit. A 2024 customer said Mr. Harisi completed an insulation project and vacuumed each area he had worked in. A 2023 customer said they came three times, changed the lights to LED, replaced the water heater and checked the stove and fridge for energy efficiency. On Google the company holds 4.9 stars from 56 ratings, and the Better Business Bureau grades it A+. Scheduling and follow-through are where things went wrong. A 2023 customer said the audit was booked 3 months out, the report took 3 more months and several calls and emails to arrive, and it left out the insulation quote; six months on, that customer was still awaiting it. A 2021 customer said no one showed for a confirmed audit, and the office said it could not get a project number and account number from the utility. A 2022 Reddit commenter in r/Connecticut said Harisi Energy was dragging its feet getting back to them about scheduling work. Connecticut lists its home improvement contractor registration, HIC.0642651, as active, held by HARISI ENERGY LLC.
“I’m trying to schedule the work, thru Harisi Energy, but they’re dragging their feet getting back to me.”
