Typical your area range for this kind of work, from regional averages — not a quote from Hay Runner. Use it to sanity-check bids, then get the real number in writing.

We had purchased a condo in Portland and elected to swap out hardware in bathrooms around painting the unit. Rob at Hayrunner came twice. First to remove the old towel bars/rings, hooks and paper holders. He spackled the walls, around wall light electrical wire boxes, repaired a dent in a door frame, and covered a wire from a wall mounted flat panel TV. He arrived on time, worked efficiently and with high quality. I highly recommend.
This is our fourth major construction project using Hayrunner. They continue to impress us and leave us very satisfied customers. Their professionalism cannot be matched. My latest project was led by Rob Woodward who went above and beyond, making sure the project went smoothly, and always addressing any needs or concerns we had. It was a pleasure to work with him and the entire team. I recommend them highly. Catherine Giuliani
I’ve spent around $7,500 with Hay Runner over the past few years—glad to pay a bit of a premium for convenience and service. Scott is solid and does good work. Unfortunately, when I submitted a request for a small window project recently, I was completely ignored for three weeks. I followed up by phone several times before I was told I’d need to pay $195 just for someone to visit the site—even as a standing customer. I understand charging for time, but it was disappointing to get zero follow-up until I chased it, and then to be quoted what felt like a brush-off fee for a basic consultation. If this is how long-time customers are treated, I can’t recommend them anymore.
Literally waited over half a year for an estimate that came in more than 3x the initial budget range we discussed. Rip off and a total waste of time!
Think carefully before hiring or paying this business anything.
