Heat Pump Services LLC

Heat Pump Services LLC installs and cleans heat pumps. On its website the company states a service area of Addison and Chittenden and says it has 20 years in business. A recent customer had three heat pumps installed to serve a house and an outbuilding. One installation location was particularly tricky, and that customer wrote that James and Trevor worked with them to find a solution that was both functional and aesthetically pleasing. A recent reviewer wrote that the exterior routing of feed and discharge lines blends in well with the house trim. One recent customer said the technician arrived exactly on time and made sure no indoor cats got out. In a 2025 review, a customer said water was dripping from two of their three heat pumps, and that Trevor leveled each pump and made sure each was clean and fully operational before leaving. A 2025 customer wrote that rodents had chewed a wire on the heat pump in their shop and that they were able to repair the one wire without replacing many parts. A 2025 customer who had a 3-zone system installed wrote that "they also do the electrical work." A 2025 customer, a landlord who said James and his crew had installed almost a dozen units on new builds and rentals, wrote that lately the business could not make time for service work for past clients: warranty work less than a week out of the warranty period was not honored, and they were told there was no time for a month to look at a failed unit. A 2026 reviewer wrote that he would not quote a mini-split install because he did not want to deal with the brick walls of their house. A 2025 customer wrote: "They are small team, so expect a bit of a wait for an initial visit." In a June 2023 r/vermont thread, a commenter who used Heat Pump Services wrote that James was amazing.
