The visible customer history centers on HVAC work. In a 2023 Google review, a homeowner said Crawford Heating & Air Conditioning installed a new HVAC system and praised the professionalism from phone representatives through installers. The same three-review history contains two serious service complaints: in May 2023, a homeowner described a promised appointment that did not happen and reported learning during the call that the service appeared connected to Premium Home Services; in February 2022, another reviewer reported no technician arrived and no useful update came after waiting most of the day. Those accounts are older than the current six-month window, so confirm present-day company identity, dispatch arrangements, appointment windows, and no-show handling before booking. Google lists 3.9 stars from seven ratings, while the written reviews are a small, dated sample with sharply mixed experiences. This may suit a homeowner seeking HVAC installation or service who is willing to verify scheduling details first. Crawford Heating & Air Conditioning installed a new HVAC system for us and did a great job. We were very impressed with the professionalism of all. From the representatives on the phone to the installers, everyone was terrific.
Based off google reviews I tried to set up an appointment yesterday (Monday)and I confirmed an appointment between 1-4 pm that same day. I had thought this was a local company based off reviews etc however while speaking to them it appears they use a call center and is part of a bigger company called Premium Home Services. I was sold on a one year warranty plan for $149 which was the same as the cost for them to show up that also Includes additional discounts if and when work was needed. I waited until 3:45 pm and since I never heard back I called them and was then told that the service tech near me was "caught up" on another job so would not be making my appointment. Frustrated but willing to work with them I rescheduled for an appointment that following Wednesday. The next day I get a call from Crawford Heating saying that they no longer have a tech near me and have none around for the job but will be refunding my $149. I asked when I can I expect that return and they said 3-5 business days. This company seems like a scam to sign up for this membership. DO NOT USE THEM
I made an appointement with Crawford Heating and Air Conditioning for February 10. On the 10th, no tech and no communications from Crawford. At 11:00, I called Crawford to check the status of my service call. In so many words, I was was told that Crawford's way of doing business is that you wait, all day if need be, and 30 minutes before arrival, the tech will call you. I was unhappy with this, but we were desperate, so I grit my teeth and continued to wait. By 4:30, still no tech and no communications. I called Crawford and was told the tech would call me to give me an updated. He didn't. And didn't show.
