I hired Helpy Construction to replace my old wood deck with a new Trex composite deck, and I’m very happy with how everything turned out. Their quote was fair, the quality of the finished deck was great, and the entire process was smooth from start to finish. Pablo and his family were friendly, reliable, and easy to work with. Communication was one of the things I appreciated most—they kept me updated throughout the project, answered my questions, and were transparent about everything along the way. They even came out and worked on a Saturday to keep the project moving and finish it on schedule, which I really appreciated. Overall, it was a very positive experience, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Helpy Construction. I’ve already asked Pablo to take a look at a few other projects at my house and also recommended him to my sister for work on her home.

Their tagline says it all: "Hard at the beginning, messy in the middle, gorgeous in the end." We hired this team to build a new deck, replace doors, and construct outdoor bluestone stairs. The finished results are truly beautiful and we're very happy with our new deck. There were some challenges along the way, especially around permitting and building codes, which led to delays and unexpected costs. Communication happened mostly through Pablo's son, as well as email and WhatsApp, which we used to share updates and decisions, which generally worked well. Still, there were a few instances where information wasn't fully aligned or clarified, which led to some misunderstandings. The overall cost ended up higher than we originally quoted, particularly for the deck and stairs. Some of this was due to building code related changes that weren't fully clear at the outset. That said, the team worked hard to get everything right, and the quality of the finished work speaks for itself.
