Heritage Design Associates LLC is a Hingham, MA design-build firm that takes on architectural design and construction together, from additions and custom new homes to historic renovations, with 18 projects shown on its Houzz portfolio. A colleague in the design field, writing in January 2017 after five years working alongside the firm's Jim, praised his detailed eye and the way he carried deep construction knowledge into the finished work. Another 2017 review itemizes a full exterior architectural overhaul on an older New England home — a new wood roof, garage bonnet roof, cupola, and chimney treatment — and calls the pricing fair and the craftsmanship expert. Both reviews on file are from January 2017, so ask what the firm has completed more recently before booking. For a design-build project that leans on architectural detail — additions, historic-style renovations, or a full exterior refresh — Heritage Design Associates has two detailed, credited endorsements behind it; just confirm current availability and recent work directly.
