Hillside Ironworks is an ironwork shop in New Braintree. On its website the company describes custom ornamental ironwork designed, forged, fabricated and installed by its family-owned shop. On Thumbtack it says it does all areas of welding and metal fabrication, offers mobile and in-shop services, and specializes in artistic and ornamental ironwork, including railings, gates, furniture, forged hardware and sculpture. A 2024 post on r/westernmass called Jeremy K of Hillside Ironworks, in New Braintree, very talented. A 2024 Google reviewer named Jeremy as the owner and praised his excellent communication, a reasonable turnaround from inquiry to scheduling, and fair pricing for the quality of the work, adding that the reviewer now had a reliable source for ironwork with their landscape company. A 2026 Google reviewer wrote of using Hillside for several projects, all of which came out great, with good communication and plans to continue using it. In a 2020 Thumbtack review, the reviewer wrote that Jeremy fashioned a beautiful railing for them in a challenging spot, listened to their wishes and followed through in a timely, professional manner. A 2020 Thumbtack reviewer called Jeremy at Hillside Iron Works the perfect person to take on a custom project, with great communication, good prices and a project completed faster than expected. A 2019 Thumbtack review cited quality workmanship and punctuality.
