Hiscock Construction is a Fall River contractor that says it has been in business 20 years and is locally and family owned. A 2025 Google reviewer wrote of Matthew that "15 units completely redone with new kitchens and baths and some windows in the span of 4 month happens in the cracks of his schedule," and that he did 20 replacement windows in 2 apartments in an 8 hour day with 1 guy helping him. In 2022, a customer had a bathroom and kitchen remodel done by Hiscock Construction, said it was like being in a new home, and wrote that Matt would always offer options on how best to handle the challenges of an older home. In 2022, a customer said the company had installed new windows and new vinyl siding for them, and most recently replaced the carpet in two bedrooms with vinyl flooring. A 2022 customer hired them for tile floors, bathroom remodeling, roof leak repair and basement refinishing. In 2023, a customer described a complete redo of a bathroom after water damage, with a new hallway and plumbing and leaks all repaired. In 2023, Matt came out to help reinforce a porch addition on a house in Portsmouth, RI, where there were signs of the ledger board pulling away from the house and the support columns were sinking; that 2023 review says his team completed the whole project in a single day and left the place clean of junk. In 2024, Hiscock Construction updated a customer's deck, and that 2024 review says they arrived on time, worked hard and cleaned up after. In 2026, a customer says Matt and his crew are professional, hard working and neat, and always cleaned up after they finished for the day. In 2023, a reviewer said Matt came over to view a probable job for an estimate and almost 3 weeks later they still had not received one. In 2025, a reviewer said the company's work trucks ran stop signs on Orange St. Its Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration, 171349, is expired on the state registry. Its BBB grade is A+.
Matt and his crew are top notch. Professional, hard working and neat. Never left a mess always cleaned up after they finished for the day. They do quality work. You can’t go wrong with Hiscock.
Very Professional, with great communication skills.
Matt and his crew are amazing! Showed up when they said they would, fast and quality work. Highly recommend!!
I see Matthew move thru unit remodels like nobody else. The pace that he maintains is inspiring. 15 units completely redone with new kitchens and baths and some windows in the span of 4 month happens in the cracks of his schedule. He did 20 replacement windows in 2 apartments in an 8 hour day with 1 guy helping him and he still made the time to take photos and create a social media post about it. I don't think he is human! If you need it done and your lucky enough to hire him then you will know what I am talking about.
The work trucks like to run stop signs - like they did yesterday on Orange st. Clearly safety isn't their first priority.
