Basement finishing and bathroom renovations bring homeowners to Hometown Handyman and Remodeling in Bellingham. A July 2026 Google reviewer described working with Brad on a finished basement, praising communication and saying the project finished on budget. The company says it has been family-owned and operated since 2001 and offers handyman work alongside kitchen and bathroom remodeling, flooring, decks, windows, siding and additions. Its stated service area includes Bellingham, Holliston, Milford, Ashland, Franklin, Medway, Millis, Hopedale and Mendon. Customers writing in earlier years described both room renovations and smaller repairs. In an April 2025 Google review, a homeowner said Brad and his brother completed a master bathroom remodel within the estimated time and cost. A July 2023 reviewer described Brad and Doug renovating the household's only full bathroom: they arrived on time, gave updates throughout the week and finished sooner than estimated. The customer also said the tub was usable about halfway through the project, allowing the children to take baths. Kitchen work included an older house with substantial changes. In September 2022, Walter and Donna wrote that Brad and Doug took over a kitchen remodel that had gone poorly with another contractor. They described new cabinets, flooring, a window above the sink, quartz counters, paint and added outlets, plus opening an archway to ceiling height. In a separate July 2022 account, a homeowner said Brad submitted repair estimates to their insurer and completed insulation, drywall, plaster, paint and closet-system rehanging within a week. A September 2023 customer described Brad replacing a back porch with changes to better fit the area. Google shows a 5-star average from 23 ratings. BBB gives the company an A+ grade and identifies it as non-accredited, with Bradley Wiebers as owner. There are complaints to consider alongside the praise. In December 2021, a Google reviewer raised a previous low rating to four stars but still objected to calls not being returned promptly. An August 2023 Houzz reviewer complained that supposedly new materials looked used after a $20,000 stair-and-door job. The company disputed that review's identity: its owner publicly replied that the reviewer had the wrong company. The complaint and the owner's denial remain at odds.
