Thank You Handyman is Bruce Terzian working solo out of Dedham, and his Google page holds a 5.0★ average across 186 ratings — an unusually clean record for anyone who's been in business since at least 2021. A Reddit thread asking for West Roxbury contractor recommendations named him directly in June 2026. The range of what one person handles is wide. In a 2022 review, a customer listed a drywall job, several paint jobs, a carpentry job and a window repair all done under one guaranteed, task-based quote. In a 2024 review, another spent five days having Bruce renovate a bathroom — waterproof board on the lower walls, repainted upper walls and cabinets — after using him for prior jobs; that same year he replaced an attic ladder and built a protective rim inside a tub-shower, and painted a home's front and side doors, deck trim, and rotten back-stair boards in one visit. More recently, reviewers describe him replacing attic stairs with careful attention to alignment and fixing a chewed baseboard, a water-stained ceiling, and basement ceiling patches in the same trip. Several customers say they've called him back more than once, and more than one credits him with steering them away from an idea that wasn't the right fix — in a 2025 review, he 'advised against some of our ideas' when quoting a cat-door install, a window repair, and a TV mount. His BBB page is an A+ with zero complaints on file, and recent activity — five reviews in the past six months, none negative — is thinner than the all-time pace simply because he's one person, not a sign of a slowdown. Nothing in the record raises a real concern. Thank You Handyman fits the backlog of small jobs a homeowner keeps meaning to get to — a door that won't latch, a patch of drywall, a room that needs painting — more than a full remodel. Given it's a one-person operation, confirm his current schedule before counting on a specific date.
“**Highly recommend:** * Thank You, Handyman (Bruce Terzian)”
Bruce did an excellent job across the board. He showed up on time and went through my requests completely. He also made a few more suggestions as he went through the house, noticing my front door does not close as well as it should for example. I had my list of items and he took the list and improved it by making lots of good suggestions. He had an eye on being pragmatic… cost vs value. On time for estimate and on the day he came to do multiple jobs. Follow through on actually doing more than originally discussed and was very reasonable. Highly recommend. Extremely professional and does a great job explaining what he is doing and the pro’s and con’s. Already started my list for my next call to Bruce. High integrity, good guy. And in case you think I am just a friend, I am not. Never met him before this job.
Bruce took care of two jobs at our house and was great to work with. He was very collaborative in discussing potential options and clearly explained what the work would entail. We were very happy with the outcome. Bruce is very knowledgable and took time to give me advice on other home maintenance matters. I'll definitely contact him again for future projects.
Bruce was responsive, thorough, and professional. He took the time to explain the work he was doing. I will definitely be reaching back out to him for any future projects.
I recently had my attic stairs replaced and couldn’t be happier with the experience. The handyman did an outstanding job from start to finish. His attention to detail was impressive—everything was measured, aligned, and installed with real precision. He took the time to make sure the stairs were not only functional but also safe and seamless with the existing space. The work area was kept clean throughout, and he clearly takes pride in doing things the right way, not just the quick way. It’s not always easy to find someone this reliable and meticulous. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for high-quality work and professionalism.
Bruce was great to work with from start to finish. He was extremely responsive and communicative. He repaired a chewed baseboard (courtesy of a new puppy), painted our living room ceiling that had a water mark, as well as sanded and painted some patches on our basement ceiling. I would highly recommend Bruce and we will definitely go to him again in the future.
