Icr Drywall Inc

ICR Drywall works one side of a building and works it for other builders: from Tyngsborough it hangs drywall and sets metal framing for general contractors on hotels, retail buildouts, labs, banks and multifamily projects around Greater Boston, with rough carpentry, doors and hardware, FRP, insulation and sheathing alongside. The site says it was incorporated in 1997 and puts the company at 29 years in business. It describes itself as minority-owned, and its Massachusetts Supplier Diversity Office Minority Business Enterprise certification, number 20180095, is verified active on the state registry. Google carries a 5.0 from one rating. Back in 2001, an industry site reviewing contractor websites called ICR's one of the best looking it saw and quoted its mission statement. The thing to raise is safety. A workplace-safety database lists an OSHA inspection of ICR Drywall at a job site at the Cambridge School of Weston that produced four citations and $8,400 in cumulative proposed penalties. Ask how those citations were resolved and what the safety program looks like on site today. This is a commercial interior subcontractor, so the natural caller is a general contractor pricing framing and drywall in eastern Massachusetts. Ask for the current MBE certificate and insurance certificates, and for a reference from a GC on a project the size of yours.
