Speed is what customers keep describing, and so is being talked out of spending. In June 2025 a homeowner with two failing units expected to be sold a replacement and wasn't; another the same month said nobody tried to fleece them with work that wasn't needed. A July 2025 customer whose 20-year-old central air quit had the options laid out with their pros and cons before any quote arrived. The larger jobs get described in detail too: an entire system removed and replaced in under five hours in December 2024, a Mitsubishi HyperX with a branch box and four heads where the crew brought the manufacturer's rep out to review the work and helped with the rebate paperwork, and a furnace and air conditioning both installed in a single day in June 2026. One customer had a bad experience. In July 2024 a one-star reviewer wrote that they were overcharged and misled about what was wrong, and that a second company found a different, simpler fault. That is the only complaint among the thirty written accounts on file, but it is a reminder that a second opinion is cheap when a diagnosis sounds expensive. Duct and dryer-vent cleaning is a real part of the work rather than a sideline. A September 2025 customer called for a dryer vent cleaning and was told that nothing had been connected correctly, and had it fixed the same visit; condo owners in December 2023 had a whole dryer vent system repaired. The company says it holds a master sheet metal licence and specialises in older and historic New England buildings, though that licence is its own statement rather than a registry-confirmed credential. This is a strong call when the heat or the air conditioning has failed and you need someone this week, and for ductless installs where the rebate paperwork matters. Get the diagnosis and the price in writing before work starts, and ask what an after-hours emergency call costs.
