J&G Painting and Construction

Painting jobs on a house, inside and out, are what people hire J&G Painting and Construction for. Its Google profile shows 5 stars from 9 ratings, and the recent reviews there describe whole-house work: an April 2026 reviewer said the exterior left the house looking "AMAZING" with "clean work, great crew," a May 2026 customer had interior work done and said the crew "showed up right on time," and a June 2026 reviewer called the pricing reasonable for painting the house. Smaller jobs show up too. A July 2026 Google reviewer had them paint some signs and do power washing and said they "did exactly what I ask." On Thumbtack, an April 2026 customer thanked the team for the quick turnaround on a paint job, and in a 2023 review a customer said Hector painted their shed, was quick and responsive, and knew the quality of paint needed. A 2019 Thumbtack review credits Hector with finishing a bathroom the customer's late ex-husband had started. The one complaint is on Thumbtack, where the company holds 4.3 stars from 4 ratings, one of them 2 stars. In a December 2024 review, a customer who hired Hector to paint outdoor decks and stairs said the job was not finished the way it should be, and that after texting him five times over eight weeks he still had not come back to fix it. Rhode Island's contractor registry lists the company's home improvement contractor registration, #GC-41407, held by J&G Painting and Construction LLC, as expired.
