In an April 2026 review a homeowner described a patio and retaining wall finished to a standard of craftsmanship they had not seen on a patio before. In May 2025 another had their property regraded to solve drainage and prepare for a patio, and called the crew thorough. In August 2024 a client described an extensive patio with walks and walls, built by shooting grade around old work and getting equipment through narrow spaces — a job they had thought out of reach. Two names recur in the praise: Brandon, who runs crews, and Joel, who walks clients through the plan. They show up when it is urgent, too. In an April 2026 review a homeowner whose driveway had been left impassable by a washout called late at night and had a crew there the next day. The thing to press on is older and it is specific. Two July 2022 Google reviewers rated the company one star: one said the work was not completed as quoted and that the company then denied having said it could do it, the other alleged damage to their property, work not done as quoted, and an argument when they raised it. Both are four years old, but they are about scope and about how a dispute went — so get the quote itemised in writing, with what is and is not included, before anyone starts. One caution about the reviews themselves: a few of the five-star entries are not about hired work at all. One from June 2024 thanks the crew for driving the speed limit down a residential street; a March 2023 one is written by the partner of an employee. The weight sits in the project accounts. BBB grades the business A+ while listing it as not accredited, and dates the sole proprietorship to May 2012. The company describes itself as a full-service landscape, snow removal and outdoor property firm working residential, commercial and corporate properties in Massachusetts and southern New Hampshire. For a hardscape or grading job in the Gardner area, that is a good fit — just pin the scope down on paper first.

J. LeBlanc and Sons did a excellent job on our property. I had them originally come out to do a spring cleaning but we were so impressed with them I had them do my retaining wall, front walkway, and reseed my front lawn. Brandon and his crew were very professional and every day they made sure to clean the site before they went home. I highly recommend that anyone looking for a landscaper, call up these guys. I will definitely be having them back for future work.
