One recent customer turned Nick loose on about three acres of overgrown shrubbery to cut walkable trails, and said he then cleared a field and a horse pasture within one short day at a very affordable price. A recent driveway customer said the company completed the driveway in just a day. A 2024 customer said Nick prepped their driveway and laid down about 50 yards of regrind, done by early afternoon. A 2025 customer hired the company to demolish and fill in an inground pool and said Nick provided a quote the same day as his initial visit. A 2024 customer had a pool pad and loam work done; when heavy rain damaged the pad that night, that customer said Nick texted to check in, came out the next afternoon to make repairs, covered it with a tarp the customer supplied, and charged nothing. The work reaches beyond homeowners. In a 2025 review, a Boston heavy civil construction company said it has subcontracted Batten Dirtworks on residential site work, forestry mulching and roadwork. A 2025 customer credited Nick with plowing and salt and sand on their driveway after a storm. Price is the one thing to compare. A recent customer who had regrading and leveling done said the quote came in at over double their first quote, and that they were still pleased with how it turned out.
