Custom homes and high-end renovations are the core, and the company fabricates its own millwork in-house rather than buying it in. Its Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration is active and held in the company's own name. It has been BBB accredited since 2003 — twenty-three years — and carries an A+ there with no complaints on the page. Four employees, an owner who grew up in a Boxford family of builders, and a team the company names individually on its own site. What is almost missing is the customer voice. Two written reviews exist, both on Houzz and both old: in 2018 a homeowner who had built several houses before called it "far and away our best building experience" and noted that Jason held to his budget; in 2014 another described a custom oceanfront home finished on budget and, they said, in record time. A single Google rating sits alongside them. For a firm of this vintage, that is a very quiet paper trail. That is not a knock on the work — high-end custom builders often run on referral and never chase reviews. It does mean you cannot check this one online the way you could a plumber with three hundred ratings. Ask Jason directly for two or three recent clients you can call, and a finished house you can walk through. The active registration and the permit history are a solid starting point; the references are what will actually tell you.
